Program Overview

Step into the spotlight of modern digital storytelling and multimedia production. Students master creative industry software and broadcast hardware through immersive, hands-on media production labs. As active creators within Red Hawk Media, students work in collaborative crews to write, record, edit, and broadcast ACIT's official programs, Red Hawk News and Hawk Talk. Productions utilize our professional TV production studio and sound room to capture and edit multi-camera and field broadcasts.  Schedule permitting, students are encouraged to partake in work-based learning experiences outside of the building. Upon completion of the program, students can earn a high school diploma, technical Certifications, college credits, and qualify to seek employment as an entry-level journalist, podcaster, newscaster, or continue their advanced studies in graphic design, public relations and advertising, or media studies.
