MEDIA & GRAPHICS
Students in the Media & Graphics program will explore a variety of industry standard, career-based technologies and develop an understanding of the creative process through hands-on exploratory activities. The program will introduce students to graphics including vector and logo creation and manipulation utilizing the Adobe Suite. Students discover the methodology behind visual storytelling, pre-production practices, editing techniques, visual hierarchy, studio news production, field production, copyright, fair use, and media ethics and law. Students will work as a team to develop and produce the weekly ACIT Hawk Tawk News program. As students progress through the program they will work on the development of personal portfolios and reels to utilize for post secondary education or career application. Program graduates are eligible to earn the industry standard ACA Certification (Adobe Premier +, Photoshop and Illustrator).
