Athletic Spectator Guidelines
- Spectators Information
- Doors open 15 minutes before the first scheduled game (Freshman/JV/V levels)
- Will enter the school through the Main entrance.
- Spectators cannot leave the building and return at any time, (No Re-entry).
- Spectators will not be admitted to any Varsity Basketball Game after the start of the third period.
- Seating is available in the bleachers across from the respective team and a limited amount of seating behind each team’s bench.
- The district will not be responsible for damage or theft of video equipment used by other teams and spectators.
- High school-age students without a parent must present a current school ID to enter. Games entry may be limited to students of ACIT and the opponent’s high school only.
- All spectators may be required to show ID along with their ticket for ticketed and non-ticketed events.
- For security purposes, spectators may have their bags checked and individuals may be wanded by an ACIT security officer.
- Spectator Expectations/Conduct
- The following rules and regulations must be complied with by all spectators. Failure to comply with any portion may subject that person or persons; to removal from the premises (with no reimbursement for expenses) and the forfeiture of attendance at future games.
- For security purposes, spectators may have their bags checked and individuals may be wanded by an ACIT security officer.
- No bookbags or anything larger than 12”x12”x12” are permitted in the gym.
- No outside food or drink are allowed in the gymnasium
- No possession or consumption of alcoholic beverages.
- No use, possession, or distribution of drugs or illegal substances.
- No vaping/smoking on school grounds at any time.
- No noise makers of any kind.
- No firearms (including concealed carry) are permitted on campus
- No full head and neck covering (ski masks, Balaclavas, etc) are to be worn indoors (except for medical masks and religious face and head coverings).
- No action or behavior by a spectator that is considered inappropriate, offensive, or unsportsmanlike towards athletes, coaches, officials, school staff, and other spectators.
- All spectators should remain in the stands.
- Anyone who leaves the building at any time will not be readmitted.
