Athletic Spectator Guidelines

  1. Spectators Information
    1. Doors open 15 minutes before the first scheduled game (Freshman/JV/V levels) 
    2. Will enter the school through the Main entrance.
    3. Spectators cannot leave the building and return at any time, (No Re-entry).
    4. Spectators will not be admitted to any Varsity Basketball Game after the start of the third period.
    5. Seating is available in the bleachers across from the respective team and a limited amount of seating behind each team’s bench.
    6. The district will not be responsible for damage or theft of video equipment used by other teams and spectators. 
    7. High school-age students without a parent must present a current school ID to enter.  Games entry may be limited to students of ACIT and the opponent’s high school only.
    8. All spectators may be required to show ID along with their ticket for ticketed and non-ticketed events. 
    9. For security purposes, spectators may have their bags checked and individuals may be wanded by an ACIT security officer.
  2. Spectator Expectations/Conduct
    1. The following rules and regulations must be complied with by all spectators. Failure to comply with any portion may subject that person or persons; to removal from the premises (with no reimbursement for expenses) and the forfeiture of attendance at future games.
      1. For security purposes, spectators may have their bags checked and individuals may be wanded by an ACIT security officer. 
      2. No bookbags or anything larger than 12”x12”x12” are permitted in the gym.
      3. No outside food or drink are allowed in the gymnasium
      4. No possession or consumption of alcoholic beverages.
      5. No use, possession, or distribution of drugs or illegal substances.
      6. No vaping/smoking on school grounds at any time.
      7. No noise makers of any kind.
      8. No firearms (including concealed carry) are permitted on campus
      9. No full head and neck covering (ski masks, Balaclavas, etc) are to be worn indoors (except for medical masks and religious face and head coverings).
      10. No action or behavior by a spectator that is considered inappropriate, offensive, or unsportsmanlike towards athletes, coaches, officials, school staff, and other spectators. 
      11. All spectators should remain in the stands.
      12. Anyone who leaves the building at any time will not be readmitted.
